You will have courage because you will have hope. You will be protected and will rest in safety. Job 11:18

Hope is what we hang on to when there is nothing else left.  But last week things were looking a little hopeless and I  was beginning to lose all hope.  Just as I was about to give up God showed up renewing my hope not once but twice. Imagine that! Actually, He was there all the time and I had just allowed myself to get caught up looking at things the way they were and the way I assumed they would always be instead of looking at things as they could be and would be if I truly believed.

God showed Himself so clearly that I was really amazed. And why was it that I was amazed? I had allowed myself to get caught up in the temporal instead of looking at the total package.  God renewed my hope so quickly it was like He handed me a surprise gift all neatly wrapped with a beautiful bow.  Boom !!!!!!  There it was.  If anyone were looking on they would never have realized a miracle had taken place.  It was a special gift just for me from God.  God does things like that because He loves us so much.

Hope is something we must maintain always.  If we truly believe - we have hope. It is important to not just believe that God can but to know that God will.  When Jesus healed in the Gospels belief played a major role.  The woman with the issue of blood had faith and boom, she was healed!  If she had given up and lost hope she would have not received the special gift God had waiting on her.  In Matthew when the two blind men asked Jesus to have mercy on them, Jesus asked them did they believe He could heal them.  They said, "Yea, Lord" and they were healed.  To be healed of anything we must believe. We must hang on to our hope when there is nothing else left.  Hang on to every promise God has given.  God will do what He says He will do.   Sometimes we simply need to say, "Yes, Lord."
